SIC+ Working Meeting: Sharing Experiences from Safer Internet Day 2026

As part of the fourth phase of the SIC+ programme, an online working meeting was held with representatives of Safer Internet Centres from different countries. The main objective of the meeting was to exchange experiences and lessons learned from organizing Safer Internet Day 2026 activities.

Participants shared practical approaches and insights, discussing which event formats proved most effective, how they engaged children, parents, and educators, which communication tools delivered the best results, and what could be improved for future campaigns.

The Ukrainian Safer Internet Centre presented its own initiatives, including awareness-raising campaigns on its website and social media channels, webinars for educators and parents, film club discussions for children and young people, and joint initiatives implemented in cooperation with public authorities.

The Ukrainian Safer Internet Centre is currently participating in the fourth phase of the SIC+ programme, an initiative of the European Commission implemented through the Better Internet for Kids platform in coordination with the INHOPE network.
