Video Quizzes for School Students to Assess and Improve Their Digital Literacy
In today’s world, digital skills are no longer an added advantage — they are a necessity. That is why the Safer Internet Centre has developed a series of interactive quizzes for students of different age groups. Their purpose is to help children assess their level of digital literacy, better understand the rules of safe online behaviour, and develop critical thinking skills in the digital environment.
The quiz format was chosen for several reasons. First, it is engaging — children are more willing to learn through games and interactive activities than through traditional lectures. Second, quizzes provide immediate feedback: students can see their results, understand their mistakes, and reinforce correct answers. Third, this format supports the development of critical thinking, as the questions are based on real-life situations, ranging from identifying fake information to communicating safely on social media.
We invite students, teachers, and parents to take the quizzes and make a step towards safer and more responsible Internet use.
